Hello there human, My name is Simón, in case you missed the huge title up there. I'm a composer/arranger (hopefully-soon to be) producer from Lima, Peru. One of my many passions in life is playing, singing and writing music. I am currently studying Contemporary Writing & Production at Berklee College of Music in the city of Boston, Massachusetts.
I've been making music since I was 12 years old: all the way from playing the Tuba in 6th grade Band to producing a studio album. I am a fan of Peruvian music (and food!) or to be more specific, Afro-Peruvian rhythms and the fusion of these with other modern day genres. I have a beautiful labrador named Oso and he is my current personal manager. My main instrument is actually my voice and I know how to play the computer (I am definitely talking about DAW's), the piano and drums but honestly I'd rather call "staff paper and a pencil" my two major instruments.
I consider myself an explorer and learner. A creative-existentialist that loves to overthink and do things all the way from acting and singing to boxing and road tripping to Marcahuasi, located 60 km east of Lima: its a huge ass mountain and when I say huge ass I mean 4,000m above sea level. I wish I could tell you more about myself and that mountain but I can assure you this part is not as cool as what's about to come. Trust me. This website is here to help me explain what I do, show my personal projects, my music and other things that make me the person I am today.
